## For the detail

Each free account starts with USD 5 of credit, which cannot be topped up. Premium and Pro share one monthly pool of usage across reports, formalisation and proof search. Overage is off until you turn on usage billing and set a budget; then the part beyond the pool is charged at cost x 1.2, up to that budget, and sent to Stripe once a month. Checks are metered at USD 0.10 per million input tokens.

The free plan needs no key. To move to Premium, open the upgrade link at the top of a free account's job summary, or ask your agent for a checkout link with `POST /v1/billing/checkout`: what you see is Stripe's hosted checkout for that plan. Nothing changes until the payment completes; cancelling in Stripe returns the account to the free plan. [Paying for a plan](/docs/quickstart-api#14-paying-for-a-plan).

A CI plan, a skills catalogue and a per-plan streaming limit are planned. None is available today.
